Matthew Quick for Philadelphia Magazine

Last  month I got a chance to photograph writer Matthew Quick (Silver Linings Playbook, Boy21, etc) for Philadelphia Magazine. He lives in Central Massachusetts and asked to meet him at this beautiful empty church for a location. Matt is a very cool guy and a talented writer. If you haven't seen the movie, or read the book, check it out.

SPEED DEMONS Jody and Dave Perewitz for American Motorcyclist

Back in December I got to spend the day with Jody and Dave Perewitz at their shop in Westbridgewater Ma to shoot a feature for American Motorcyclist. Jody went 203MPH last year at Bonneville on the bike you see here that was built by her dad and her crew at Perewitz Cycle Fab. Now I have to figure out how to get to Bonneville this year to see them break that record!
Thanks to Mark and Jeff at AMA and to Bruce Wahl for the help on the shoot.

Recent Photographic Ramblings

I worked with Emily Scott of E Scott Originals to shoot some of her new jewelery. It's not often I get to shoot in the studio these days and had a great time. Check her site out.
The talented Mr. James Weinberg designed and silk screened invitations to Delia's 6th Birthday. She even got to try her hand at pulling a few screens, and help out. Thanks James.

I got to blow off work the other day and go fishing with my dad and 90 year old grandfather (and Veteran, thanks Pop). No fish were harmed in the making of this photo.
Recent tear sheet of Brain Pastuszinski I shot over the summer.
This is a tearsheet from a shoot at the end of the summer for Huffington Post. This is a 10 year old boy named Robert from Danvers that started a fund to raise money for Tornado Victims. Cool kid. Read the whole story here.
Outtake from a recent Boston Magazine shoot. Stay tuned for the rest.

Recent Tears. Boston Home, Engadget

This is a shoot for Boston Home from the summer with the inventive and talented Jess and Jesse of Nervous System in Somerville. They make functional objects from shapes that "work at the intersection of science, art, and technology". Check them out, they have beautiful jewelery and the lamps are amazing.

This is a fun shoot I had of Citybike here in Boston for Endgadget/Distro. Dan has a passionate view of where the bike should be in out transportation system. The article is getting some serious discussion going on the Engadget site. Read the whole article here.
