Antilipseis

I have a few photos and an essay in the new issue of Antilipseis. It's a cool photo magazine from Greece and it has some really good people in it and behind it. It was curated by Martha Tepper Takayama of Tepper Takayama Fine Art and on the theme of TRANSPORTATION. I'm told that the essay will be translated soon in the off chance you don't read Greek.

Globe article about Macey Sign Co.

I got to photograph a story about a 100 year old business in Worcester, MA called Macey Sign Co. for the Globe Magazine. Dolly and George were really excellent to shoot.
It is a great story written by Charles P. Pierce and they did a beautiful job laying out the photos for the story. Check out the whole story here.

January is cold.

Work is really slow right now so I am getting more work done on the Honda than I'd like to.

This is a spare motor I am taking apart just for fun. It had some water in it for some of it's 42 years of life so most of it is trashed but it is still pretty inside. Now that I have taken this one apart I hopefully won't destroy the "good" motor when I take it apart.

WEDDING

I photographed a wedding for a good friend last week.
It was way more fun than I thought it could be. It had been years since
I did one. New high ISO digital has really changed the experience.
Congratulations.

Last Month or so. I guess this is the last post of the year.

My Client Holiday Card this year. My good friend Joe Bought a 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury and I thought that would make a good starting point for my card. I wanted to make it look like he was a guy who dresses up as Santa for the holidays as a job and he was trying to find the energy and reason why he should get out of his car and go to work.
I lit him with a Pabst sign from the front, hung xmas lights on lightstands around the car, hid a q flash inside the car with some bicycle lights on the dashboard.

My card from last year was used by Wonderful Machine as a holiday card.
That is me dressed as Santa. My friend Webb Chappell helped me shoot this.

Took a trip over Thanksgiving to see Stephany and Jamie get Married in St. Lucia

I was a beautiful place, and 2 of the nicest people in the world.
